Our wholesome menu is served daily from noon to 9pm, dishing up everything you’d hope for in a proper coastal pub. Enjoy delicious pub classics, cracking curries, our famous thin-based stone-baked pizzas – hand-spun and cooked to perfection – and the freshest local fish and shellfish, including Tom’s Brancaster mussels when in season. Whether you want to dine in or take out, we’ve got you covered.
All our dishes are crafted by Head Chef Nick Ramsay. A gentle giant from London with family ties to Texas, Nick is the king of low-and-slow cooking and the magic behind our Jolly Smokehouse specials. He believes in honest, flavour-packed food and hearty generous portions.
If a juicy Norfolk pub burger is calling your name, we’ve got you covered – from crispy chicken to indulgent beef and bone marrow, all served with fries, coleslaw, and all the trimmings. On Sundays, don’t miss our renowned roasts, with locally sourced meats, seasonal veggies, and Yorkies you’ll dream about. And of course, there are always Chef’s delicious puddings to round things off.

Looking for a true taste of Norfolk’s coastal heritage? Shanty Mondays at The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe are where history, music, and good times come together. We’re proud to host Nelson’s Shantymen, who keep the tradition of sea shanty songs alive.
Every Monday from 7 pm, these talented singers fill the pub with hearty harmonies, foot-tapping rhythms, and plenty of good cheer – a celebration of North Norfolk’s maritime history. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Norfolk coast, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
